Saudi Al-Qahtani Group officials confirmed that the group is open to partnering with the Egyptian petroleum sector and investing in Egypt in light of the availability of attractive opportunities in a number of areas of cooperation and investment potential, especially the distinguished infrastructure in Egypt, and they expressed their welcome to enter into investment opportunities in the areas of petroleum industry services, development and production. For his part, Engineer Karim Badawi expressed his welcome to Al-Qahtani Group’s desire to partner with the petroleum and investment sector in Egypt and its interest in studying investment opportunities and possible areas of cooperation, which was reflected in holding several joint working meetings between the two sides during the past few years. He stressed the speed of work and cooperation on the part of the sector. Oil to facilitate investment and benefit from the distinguished investment opportunities and components in the petroleum sector, while examining the expansion of areas of cooperation based on the capabilities and capabilities available to both sides.

The meeting also touched on a review of the steps taken to accelerate the basic procedures and studies necessary to prepare for the establishment of the Alamein Petrochemical Complex project in New Alamein, in which the Saudi Al-Qahtani Group participates with the English company Shard Capital in cooperation with the Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company.
