The Team Phoenix Group (TTPG), one of the leading cyber security convergence platforms in the country, has officially announced the ‘Phoenix Summit 2026’. This conference will start from June 23 and continue till June 27. The technical workshops of the five-day event will be held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in Dhaka and the main conference will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC).
The announcement was made officially at a press conference held at the National Press Club on Wednesday (June 3). Founder and Managing Director of The Team Phoenix Group ASM Shamim Reza, Director (Operations and Community) Dihan Islam Olif and Advisor (Strategy and Transformation) were present at the press conference. Organizers of the press conference said that the main goal of this summit is to create skilled manpower, increase cooperation between stakeholders and strengthen digital stability to strengthen the cyber security ecosystem of Bangladesh.
Powered by BRAC Bank PLC ‘Phoenix Summit-2026’ will bring together Government, Industry, Academia and Cyber Security Professionals on one platform with the aim of enhancing Bangladesh’s Cyber Sovereignty and National Cyber Capability. The organization is supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology ICT Department and National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).
According to the organizers, world-renowned cyber security experts will participate in the three-day international cyber security workshop series. Participants will get hands-on training on key topics including Practical Cyber Investigations, DevSecOps for Practitioners, Application Security and Vulnerability Management and Defensive Engineering for the Ransomware Lifecycle. These workshops will be held from June 23 to 25 at the Bangladesh Institute of Agriculturalists.
Then the International Cyber Security Conference will be held at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on June 26 and 27. Where national and international policy makers, technology experts, past and present industry representatives and cyber security professionals will participate.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan will be present as the chief guest in the inaugural program of the conference. Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam will attend the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He will speak on the role of cyber security in the protection of national interests and the digital progress of Bangladesh. Apart from this, Prime Minister’s advisor Rehan Asif Asad will be the guest of honor and Kazi Anwar Hossain, secretary of the ICT department of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology will be present as a special guest at the closing ceremony.
Speaking about the event, ASM Shamim Reza, Founder and Managing Director of The Team Phoenix Group said, ‘Cybersecurity is no longer just a technical matter; It is a question of national stability, economic security and digital sovereignty.
