New Delhi. Being close to the Indian Premier League (IPL), New Zealand has rested the players playing regularly in this shortest format for the five -match T20 International Series against Pakistan. New Zealand will host this series starting on 16 March. The IPL will start from 22 March.

Michael Bracewell has been given the command of the team due to the rest of Michael Bracewell to perform well for New Zealand in the Champions Trophy. Apart from Bracewell, six other players playing in the Champions Trophy have also been given a place in the team.
