US-Bangla Airlines has taken responsibility for bringing the body of actress and content creator Kareena Kaiser home from India. The airline has taken the initiative to deliver his body to Dhaka free of cost.
Kareena’s family sources confirmed the matter.
According to his family, they tried to bring the body in an airline yesterday but it was not possible. Today, US-Bangla Airlines will bring the body from Chennai to Dhaka free of cost.
The flight is scheduled to reach Dhaka with Kareena’s body from Chennai this Sunday (May 17) afternoon. After bringing home, the body will first be kept at his residence at Banani DOHS in the capital. Janaza will be held at Banani DOHS Masjid later.
Kareena’s father Qaiser Hamid said that the body will be taken to his maternal grandfather’s house in Ghazaria, Munshiganj tomorrow, Monday. He will be buried there.
Kareena was taken to Chennai, India by air ambulance on May 11 when she fell seriously ill with liver complications. He was later undergoing treatment at Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital, Vellore. He died there late last Friday night.
Kareena’s father said that Kareena’s blood pressure suddenly dropped and despite all the efforts of the doctors, it could not be brought under control.
Earlier, Kareena was under treatment in a hospital in the capital for more than a week. When the condition worsened, he was taken on life support. Later taken to India for better treatment.
Kareena’s mother Lopa Kaiser from Chennai said Kareena was not in a physical condition to undergo a liver transplant or major surgery.
According to the doctors, he said, Kareena’s lungs had developed an infection due to accumulation of fluid and phlegm. Doctors tried to stabilize him, but ultimately surgery was not possible.
Kareena went to study in Australia after completing ‘A’ level. Get known as a content creator back home. He became popular among young viewers by creating content on social media. But recently he was busy with web series and short films. Kareena gained appreciation for her acting in the series ‘Internship’ and ’36-24-36′.
