Arab Finance: Yasser Sobhi, MP, confirmed Minister of Finance For financial policies, alleviating the burdens on citizens and improving their standard of living are the top priorities of financial policies in Egypt, pointing out that maintaining financial stability enhances the state’s ability to support priority economic activities and increase social spending.
He added, during his participation in the activities of the “Arab Sustainable Development Week” in Cairo, that we are working to develop economic activity to contribute to the implementation of our ambitious plan to reduce debt-to-GDP ratios.
He pointed out that we seek to build a real partnership with the private sector through stimulating initiatives to create promising opportunities for economic growth, as we aim to support the business community to expand production and export, in a way that contributes to achieving economic returns for the state.
He explained that we are working to diversify sources of financing and turn to new, diverse and more sustainable tools to expand green projects, explaining that the geoeconomic tensions taking place in the global arena require joint Arab, regional and international efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development goals.
