Ukraine drone attack on Russian oil depot


Ukraine carried out a drone attack on an oil depot in the western Russian city of Oryol. AFP reported that these attacks were carried out on Friday night.

The governor of the Oryol region, Andrei Klychkov, said in a telegram that Russian defense systems shot down the Ukrainian drones and brought the oil depot fire under control.

A spokesman for Ukraine's Chief of Staff said that Kiev's forces attacked a large oil depot called Stalnoy Kone, located inside the Russian border. It is one of the largest oil depots in Russia. He also said that this oil depot is located next to a military industrial zone in Russia. From where various types of parts are supplied for the Russian army.

Some Russian media published pictures of the attack in Ukraine. So that it can be seen, black smoke fills Oriole's night sky.

Oryol governor Andrei Klitschkov said, 'No casualties were reported in the incident.'

Note that Ukraine often attacks Russian military and energy infrastructure in response to Russian attacks. Recently, Russia has launched a massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Most of the country's energy infrastructure was almost destroyed in these attacks last Thursday night. As a result, many people across the country are left without electricity.
