Tulip watched the Cricket World Cup match for free, along with siblings and A.League MPs

The Cricket World Cup was hosted in the UK in 2019. In a picture obtained by the Telegraph, Tulip was seen as a spectator at a World Cup match at Lord's Cricket Ground in the UK capital, London. At that time he was accompanied by his brothers and sisters and the then Member of Parliament elected from Awami League Kazi Nabil Ahmed.

Sheikh Hasina's government fell on August 5 after being in power for 15 years. That day he fled to India. Attacks, arrests, secret detentions and extrajudicial killings took place during his tenure. Nabil Ahmed was a Member of Parliament of Awami League from 2014 to 2024. After August 5, he is also heard to have fled the country.
