Neymar's forehead is bad. He was out for a year with a ligament injury. The Brazilian star returned to the field in the last week of October. After his return, he got injured again and left the field to play the second match.
Neymar walked off the field in Al Hilal's 3-0 win over Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League. However, he is hopeful that this muscle injury is not so serious.
Neymar came on as a substitute for the last 13 minutes of Al Hilal's previous match against Al Ain in the Champions League. He had to leave the field after 30 minutes in the second half against Esteghlal with leg discomfort. Fans are worried, the Brazilian star is going out of the field for a long time again!
Neymar posted on Instagram to reassure these fans. He said that his doctors had already warned that something like this might happen after returning to the field after such a long break.
The 32-year-old wrote on Instagram: 'Hopefully nothing too serious. This is normal after returning after a year break. Doctors had warned me about this before. I have to be more careful and play longer.'
This time, Neymar was not registered for the Saudi Pro League. He will only play Al Hilal's Champions League matches. The next match is against Al Sadd on November 26. In the meantime, Neymar hopes to recover.
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus said, 'He came back from an injury, it's not easy. He plays in a position which is very risky. I believe his injury is muscular, not knee. He has to be out of action for at least two weeks.'
