And although Indian onion is sold at 90-100 kg, it is being sold at Tk 100 per kg today.
Meanwhile, the prices of vegetables and all types of chicken meat are decreasing despite the increase in onion prices. Prices of several vegetables have come down today. There are also some unchanged. And the price of domestic chicken is also unchanged.

In today's market, cross varieties of onions are being sold at Tk 130. Among them, small and large size onions are being sold at the same price. And desi onion is selling at 140 taka, Indian onion at 100 taka. Besides, new potatoes are being sold at Tk 100, red potatoes at Tk 80, white potatoes at Tk 80, Bogra potatoes at Tk 90, country garlic at Tk 260, Chinese garlic at Tk 240, Chinese ginger at Tk 200, and new Indian ginger at Tk 140.
In this case, if we compare with last week, it can be seen that small and large cross varieties are sold separately at Tk 120 and Tk 130 per kg, but today all of them are sold at Tk 130. Also, the price of new potatoes has decreased by 20 rupees. And the prices of red, white and Bogra potatoes remain unchanged. The price of Chinese ginger has decreased by Rs 40 and Indian ginger has increased by Rs 20.
The seller said about the increase in the price of local onions. Yusuf said, native onions are now becoming trees. It is drying again. A lot of waste comes out. It cannot be brought to the store and kept for a long time. Many of our onions can be peeled. So it has to be sold at a higher price.
Meanwhile, Farhan, who came to buy onions, said that the government no longer seems to be able to control the market. He is doing business as he can. After monitoring for a few days, it stopped again. Regular monitoring should be done. Why do we still have to buy onions for 140 taka?
The price of vegetables is decreasing
The price of onion is increasing but the price of vegetables is decreasing. Today in the market Indian tomato 140 taka, sour tomato 140 taka, raw tomato 70 taka, Chinese carrot 140 taka, bean 80 taka, long eggplant 60-70 taka, white round eggplant 70-80 taka, Black Round Eggplant Tk 100, Cucumber Tk 100, Uchche Tk 100, Bitter gourd Tk 100, Papaya Tk 60, Radish Tk 50, Radish Tk 100, Patol Tk 70, Chichinga Tk 60, Dhundal Tk 70-80, Prawns are being sold at Tk 100, Barabati Tk 100, Kachur Lati Tk 80, Kachurmukhi Tk 100, Sweet Pumpkin Tk 60, Green Chilli Tk 120, Coriander at Tk 140 per kg. And according to standards, each gourd is being sold at 80 taka, gourd at 80 taka, cauliflower at 50 taka, cabbage at 50 taka. Besides, raw bananas are selling at 40 taka per hal, lemons are being sold at 30-50 taka per hal.

Prices of all chickens except country chickens have decreased
In today's market, the prices of all chickens except country chickens have fallen. And the price of beef and cow meat remains unchanged. Today, beef is being sold at Tk 750 per kg. Beef is being sold at the price of Tk 1100 per kg. Besides, broiler chicken is being sold at Tk 175-195, cocker chicken Tk 288-298, layer chicken at Tk 270 and country chicken at Tk 550 per kg. Per dozen red eggs of the farm's chickens are 140 taka and white eggs are 135 taka.
