He made this comment in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting titled 'July-Andolan 2024 non-discrimination future Bangladesh and BNP declared 31 points' organized by Bangladesh Tomorrow Forum (BTF) at National Press Club's Maulana Akram Khan Hall on Friday (January 10).
Asaduzzaman Ripon said, the people of Bangladesh will not accept that those who have the desire to form a new party, but will form a party with the people of the fallen dictatorship. Loud and clear, if any of the allies of the fallen dictatorship were to enter a political party, there would be resistance against that political party.
Asaduzzaman Ripon also said, “If there is any intention to form a political party with the friends of dictatorship, I want to warn them that the people will fight against you.”
This vice chairman of BNP said, 'Sheikh Hasina must be tried. Sheikh Hasina and her cronies have killed so many people, we cannot allow those murderers to be rehabilitated. We will bring to justice those who stood against the people, took away the rights of the people, looted the country's money and destroyed the resources.'
