Vertical Aerospace, a UK-based company, has made a lot of noise by making flying vehicles using electric technology. The company's 'VX-4' is capable of climbing and descending steeply. Not only that, this four-seater vehicle can travel up to 160 km at a speed of 240 km per hour.

It takes 51 minutes to go by car on this route. It can carry four passengers at a time. Compared to conventional helicopters, the VX-4 is much quieter and completely carbon-free.
Vertical Aerospace has already received 1,500 pre-orders, worth an estimated $6 billion. These orders came from international organizations such as American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Japan Airlines, AirAsia and Avalon.
Vertical Aerospace is developing innovative vehicles using proven technology. Among these are advanced propeller technology and battery pack, flight control system using artificial intelligence and sensors, advanced design of aerodynamics.
In December 2024, Vertical Aerospace signed a significant investment agreement with Mudrik Capital and major shareholder Stephen Fitzpatrick. A $50 million fundraising was previously announced in November.
The company has partnered with companies like Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell and Microsoft. This partnership is driving vertical aerospace towards advanced technology and manufacturing efficiency.
