Bangladesh's only state-owned mobile operator, Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, has launched an online SIM service on a trial basis. Already this service has been started as commercial piloting in 11 post offices of Rajshahi, Naogaon and Chapainawabganj districts of Rajshahi division, later the service will be available through post offices of all districts of Bangladesh.
This piloting was initially started yesterday Wednesday afternoon. This information was informed by the Ministry of Information through a notification today Thursday.

The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has announced that Bangladesh Postal Department has integrated post offices and their delivery services to deliver Teletalk SIMs to customers' doorsteps. As a result, the customer can choose and order his SIM number online and collect it from his convenient post office or at home.
