Commenting on the change of uniforms of law and order forces, a huge waste of the state, Imam Hayat, chairman of Insaniat Biplab, said that if the government is not humane and democratic, changing the uniforms of the police force does not change its character.
He said this in a statement sent to the media on Tuesday (January 21).
Imam Hayat said, 'No army becomes honest, efficient or improved just by changing its clothes. The function and character of law enforcement depends on the character of the ruling class. The rulers use the police for nefarious purposes. Still being used as a gluttonous force.'
He said, 'The current rulers are failing to provide security to the country and people. Couldn't make any progress in the economy.'
