The US labor market has lost steam since Donald Trump returned to the White House. Although he shows extraordinary health, the numbers reflect that he has lost traction. Last June, 57,000 jobs were created, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the agency officially in charge of collecting this data. The June figure represents a decrease compared to the 129,000 jobs in May and was well below economists’ expectations.
