The colorful event ended with Sony-Smart Movie Marathon-2026 organized for the first time in the country. The final stage of the competition organized at the Sony-Smart showroom in Uttara of the capital on Saturday (May 23) night was in the presence of eight contestants, judges and invited guests who won in different rounds. Sony-Smart Movie Marathon-2026 is organized by Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the official distributor of Japan’s world famous brand Sony in Bangladesh. It is known nationwide as Sony-Smart.
2 thousand 435 contestants from different parts of the country applied for the Sony-Smart Movie Marathon competition. After the verification, a total of 40 people got a chance to participate in the competition in five rounds. Among them, the eight contestants who won the various rounds got a chance to participate in the grand finale.
Mahmudul Haque of Noakhali district has won the Sony-Smart Movie Marathon competition. He won Sony’s latest Bravia 5 series 65-inch 4K Google television. And second place winner Nouf Shaheen Kana won Sony Sound System Alt Field Seven and third winner Zahidul Islam won Sony Sound System Alt Field One.
Each participant in the Grand Finale received Sony Headphones WF-CH520 with Ultimate Badge and Noise Cancelling, while each participant in each round received a Sony-Smart Movie Marathon souvenir and gift voucher.
