Nasiruddin Patwari’s Motijheel office announced closed


Jatiya Nagrik Party (NCP) chief coordinator Naseeruddin Patwari has announced the closure of his Motijheel office due to security concerns. He made this announcement in a post on verified profile on social media Facebook this Tuesday afternoon.

Naseeruddin Patwari wrote in a Facebook post, ‘Due to security reasons, temporary office operations at the garage of Hotel Parabat in Motijheel have been announced closed. All organizational and administrative functions will henceforth be conducted on the 15th floor of Rupayan Tower. People from all walks of life of Dhaka-8 and all the loving people of Bangladesh are sincerely invited to contact the new office. Our journey will continue, with a commitment to establish public trust, political decency, security and human rights.’

Naseeruddin shared a WhatsApp number for contact. Also warning, he wrote, ‘If someone goes to the previous place and faces any security risk, attack, lawsuit or damage, the person himself will be fully responsible for it. Everyone is requested to make safety a top priority.’

In the Thirteenth National Assembly Election, Nasiruddin Patwari was the candidate of the Jamaat-e-Islami-led coalition in Dhaka-8 constituency. At that time, he started the operation of election office in the garage below Hotel Parabat. The office was decorated with various murals related to the July movement.
