Social Welfare Minister A ZM Zahid Hossain said that the physical condition of Prime Minister’s political advisor Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment at the Singapore General Hospital, is improving.

The social welfare minister said, ‘I have spoken to the doctors. They said that various parameters are giving positive sign. His condition is improving, Alhamdulillah. As for the brain, it will take some time. I want everyone to pray for him.
BNP leader Mirza Abbas was taken to Singapore General Hospital by air ambulance from Dhaka on March 15.
Mirza Abbas’ private assistant secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohail, who is in Singapore, said, ‘On Monday around 10 o’clock in the morning, the doctors made him sit on a chair. It is a positive sign. You can speak slowly. He is undergoing treatment under the close observation of doctors. Please pray for him, his family has asked for prayers from the countrymen.’
Sohail said that Mirza Abbas’s wife Afroza Abbas and son Yasir Abbas are staying at the hospital all the time.
