Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: The excitement for Maharashtra Assembly elections is becoming more intense. Political parties are busy strengthening their political alliances. Meanwhile, the deadline for withdrawal of nominations has ended at 3 pm on Monday (November 4). Now no candidate can withdraw his nomination. In such a situation, now only 8272 candidates are left in the electoral fray for 288 seats of Maharashtra Assembly.
According to the Election Commission, this time a total of 10900 candidates had filed nominations for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Of these, nominations of 1654 candidates were rejected, while 9260 nominations were accepted. Of these, 983 candidates withdrew their nominations. After all this, now 8272 candidates are left, whose fate is going to be decided in EVM on 20th November.
There is a triangular contest on these seats
Mahim Seat: Here Eknath Shinde There is a triangular contest between Sada Sarvankar from the faction, Amit Thackeray from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and Mahesh Sawant from Shiv Sena UBT.
Anushakti Nagar: On this seat, there will be a triangular contest between Sana Malik from NCP Ajit Pawar, Fahad Ahmed from NCP Sharad Pawar faction and Avinash Rane from Shiv Sena.
Mankhurd Shivajinagar: One of the hottest seats in Maharashtra, there is a triangular contest between Abu Azmi from Samajwadi Party, Nawab Malik from NCP's Ajit Pawar and Suresh Patil from Shiv Sena.
Let us tell you that voting will be held on all 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra on 20th November, while its result will be declared on 23rd November. Regarding this, the time for withdrawal of nominations has ended on Monday.
