Amir of Jamaat has met with a part of Bangladesh Nezam Islam Party. Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting was held as part of efforts to build unity among the Islamic religious parties ahead of the elections.
The meeting was held on Wednesday (December 18) in Moghbazar of the capital.

He said, 'Bangladesh Nezam Islam Party leaders have been struggling to establish Islamic ideology in this country since the inception of this organization. Still they are firm and steadfast on Islamic ideals and are moving forward. Jamaat-e-Islami and Nezam-e-Islam Party have always been close to each other and are moving forward in the work of establishing an Islamic society, working towards establishing unity among the Islamic parties.
