Instagram has appeared on the new feature called 'Blend' to make the reels sharing process easier with friends. With this feature, users can now share a personal and customized reels feed with their friends or group chat members. However, to use this feature, friends need to be invited. Once the invitation is accepted, the new reels feed will be available.
According to technology analysts, this feature is part of the new strategy of Instagram, which has been introduced to increase users' interaction and to compete with rival tickets. Although various anti -trust investigations are currently under investigation, Meta is trying to attract users through the new feature.
The Blend Feature will be available in Instagram chat options. The feature creates a feed for friends or members of the chat group. The feed is arranged based on the choice and activity of both of you. This allows the user to match his recomedation with a friend.
It will be clearly written with each reels in the blend it is basically a recommendation or remand for. In this way, with the scroll of the platform, you can see it for each proposed clip. For example: If you watch more fun videos and a ridiculous reels accordingly will be recommended to you and your name will be seen below that reel.
Similarly, if your friend enjoys science -based content, his name will be written below such a reel.
The way you use the feature
Instagram says using this feature will make the reel more fun with friends. To start blend, first open a private or group chat. Tap the new blend icon on the top of the screen. Then select the 'Invitation' option and select those with whom you want to use the blend feature. Blend will be launched only if at least one member receives the invitation.
Upon adding to the blend, users will see a customized reels feed, which will be created according to the preferences of each member of the chat. If someone reacts or likes a relay, then the notification will go to other members. This will also create opportunities for discussion in chat. If you go back to that chat at any time, you will see the reel feed again.
However, if you do not want to see the blend feed anymore, you can easily get out of this feature. For this, open the Instagram app and tap the paper plane on the upper right side (icone like paper plane) or messenger icon. Then select the chat that Blend has launched. Go inside the chat and tap the blend icon on the upper right corner. Then the three dot (menu) icon can be left out of the blend by choosing the 'Live This Blend' option.
Another important news is that Instagram is finally creating a specific app for the iPad. Although Instagram has been used on the iPad so far, it was an extended version of the iPhone app, so the Instagram feed on the larger screen of the iPad looks forward. However, a source said Meta is now working on a suitable and tablet-friendly version. Although no formal information has been reported on the matter, the good news may come soon for the iPad users.
