India has nothing to teach democracy: Dudu

BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, India has nothing to learn about democracy. When mosques are demolished in India, they are not discussed. He said that while the interim government is moving towards a fair election, the neighboring country India is making various conspiracies. These attempts and conspiracies must be resisted.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the human chain and protest march organized by the Bangladesh Jagrat Party in front of the National Press Club on Saturday (December 7) against the attack by religious extremists on the Bangladesh Mission in Agartala and the desecration of the national flag of Bangladesh.

Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, I strongly condemn the way the neighboring country is spreading false slander about our country internationally, to put the government in a fragile state. There is a possibility of establishing democracy in Bangladesh. Bangladesh was created for democracy, freedom and sovereignty. The neighboring country which helped us at the time of independence, has now become an adversary.

He also said that the fascism of Sheikh Hasina has destroyed the democracy of this country, destroyed the electoral system – the students shed their blood and expelled fascism in August. So now there is a desire to restore democracy in the country. We must be united to realize this new dream of democracy.

The former convener of the Krishak Dal said that India has nothing to learn about democracy. Bangladesh has never bowed down to anyone. Don't bow down anymore. Hindus, Buddhists, Christians in this country are all our brothers. No incident has happened in Bangladesh about them, the incident happened on the other side of the border. We hope India will drop all intrigues and remain our friend.

Under the chairmanship of Engineer Ikramul Khan, President of Bangladesh Awakening Party, general secretary of Jatiya Party (Kazi Zafar) Ahsan Habib Lincoln, ATM Golam Mawla Chowdhury and others spoke.
