According to the notification, an operation was conducted against illegal gas lines under the leadership of Executive Magistrate Milton Roy of Energy and Mineral Resources Department in Kalshi, Eastern Housing area of ​​Mirpur Zone under the jurisdiction of MEDABB-4 Titas Gas T&D PLC. At this time, Denimics Washing, Kalshi, Section-12; Alhamdulillah washing, block-k, road-n/2, eastern housing and unnamed washing factory illegal disconnection.

The mobile court seized 208 feet of GI pipe, 120 feet of hose pipe, 1 regulator and 1 valve.

Besides, Abdullah Al Mamun, manager of Denimix Washing, was fined Tk 1 lakh and collected immediately. Senior officials of Titus Gas Transmission and Distribution were present during the operation.

In another operation, the illegal gas connection of one company called Ultraviolet Washing was disconnected as part of the operation to disconnect the illegal Titus gas line in Baradeora area of ​​Tongi. Meanwhile, the company's gas connection was disconnected from the source point by removing about 100 feet of line. District Administration Executive Magistrate Hasibur Rahman fined the company Tk 70,000 for illegal use of gas.

As part of the operation, another operation was conducted to clear illegal distribution lines in Bagbari, Kashimpur, Gazipur areas under JOBI-Ashulia.

4 illegal distribution lines were cleared in the operation. Another 500 illegal residential gas burners were dismantled and about 400 meters of pipes were removed.
