Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, he does not want to keep the youth unemployed by giving unemployment allowance, he wants to make them skilled. So that they can make a living through halal sustenance. He assured that mothers and sisters will also be provided with employment.
Amir of Jamaat said these things at the election public meeting of Jamaat nominated candidates of Dhaka-4 and Dhaka-5 constituencies at Jatrabari in the capital on Sunday (January 25).
Dhaka-4 seat candidate Syed Zainul Abedin and 5 seat candidate Md. Introducing Kamal Hussain as the candidate of the 11-party alliance, the Amir of Jamaat urged everyone to vote in the polls and also urged those candidates who are in favor of this alliance to vote.
Amir of Jamaat said, Jamaat-e-Islami has no alternative to move the country forward. People have understood that. So they decided to vote for Jamaat-e-Islami in the upcoming elections.
Explaining the position on unemployment allowance, Amir said, ‘I don’t want to keep the youth unemployed with unemployment allowance. We want to make them competent. The craftsman’s hand waits for no one’s kindness.’
Jamaat leaders and workers from different wards of Jatrabari, Demra, Kadmatoli and Shyampur police stations were present in the public meeting.
