Discussion on increasing the number of Bangladesh-Ethiopia flights

Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (BABICHAK) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md. Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority Director General Getachew Mengisti Alemayehur paid a courtesy call on Manzoor Kabir Bhuiya.

This courtesy meeting was held at Babychak headquarters on Monday.

In a press release, Bebichak said that in the meeting, various possibilities of mutual cooperation and development in the aviation sector of the two countries were discussed. Both sides expressed interest in taking more effective steps for the development of aviation and related sectors. Apart from this, the possibility of execution of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing regular training, audit inspection, exchange of mutually skilled auditors, increase in number of flights and academic cooperation was also discussed. Through this interview, the representatives of the two countries expressed hope that the relationship between Bangladesh and Ethiopia will be strengthened in the aviation sector.

Solomon Bekel, Regional Director of Ethiopian Airlines, Youhaniz Bekel, Area Manager of Ethiopian Airlines, Sohag, Managing Director of Rhythm Group and members of Babychock (Flight Standards and Regulations), Ethiopia and other officials of Babychock were present.
