BNP's central leadership control is not at the local level: NCP

The National Citizens Party (NCP) commented that the BNP's central leadership is not controlled at the local level. They also alleged that the situation was making the country's political situation confused and unstable.

The NCP made the allegation in a statement on Wednesday (April 2). At the local level, the statement protested against regular inter -conflict and attack on various political parties, focusing on the domination of BNP and its allied organizations.

It is mentioned that on March 8, the Jatiya Citizens Party (NCP) central joint convenor Mahbub Alam Mahir's father Azizur Rahman Bachchu Mollah was attacked in the clash of local student body and volunteer groups in Ramganj in Lakshmipur. It broke his hand and he was seriously injured.

Abdul Hannan Masood, joint chief coordinator of the local BNP activists, attacked Masud, a local BNP activist during the rally and public relations in Noakhali on March 25. Also, BNP leaders are regularly threatening the NCP activists and organizers in various places.

Although the BNP central leaders spoke against the attacks for political reasons and the accused leaders were expelled, such violent activities did not stop. NCP leaders urged the BNP to take effective action against terrorism, extortion and occupants.
