Senior lawyer of the Supreme Court Barrister Abdur Razzak has died. He was undergoing treatment at Ibn Sina Hospital in the capital on Sunday.
His junior lawyer Mohammad Shishi Mani confirmed the matter. He said that his funeral will be held at the Dhanmondi Takwa Mosque at around 7:30 pm and the Supreme Court premises at around 8am tomorrow.
The senior lawyer returned home from the UK on December 25 last year after the fall of the Awami League government. He was out of the country for five years during the Awami League government. On January 5, his junior lawyers also welcomed him at the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Barrister Abdur Razzak resigned from Jamaat on February 7, while in the UK. He then became the chief adviser to my Bangladesh (AB) party. However, on August 7 last year, he resigned from the post.
Barrister Abdur Razzak was born on December 5, 1971, in the village of Shekhalal in Mathura union of Bianibazar upazila in Sylhet. After earning a BA (Honors) and MA degree, he received a barrister degree from Lincoln's in the UK in the 5th. He was engaged in the legal profession in London for 5 years.
Barrister Abdur Razzak was included as a lawyer in the country. He was listed in the High Court Division in 5 and as a lawyer for the Appellate Division in the 5th. He became a senior lawyer for the Supreme Court in 2002.
Barrister Razzaq has two sons and one daughter. The two sons Barrister Ehsan Abdullah Siddique and Imran Abdullah Siddique are conducting the law profession in the Supreme Court.
