Fundamentalists in Bangladesh have once again targeted the ISKCON temple. On Saturday, the ISKCON temple in the capital Dhaka was set on fire. Kolkata ISKCON Vice President Radharaman Das told PTI that attacks are being carried out continuously in Bangladesh targeting Vaishnav sect and ISKCON members.
Radharaman Das wrote in X post – Another ISKCON Namhatta center was burnt in Bangladesh. The temple contents including the idols of Sri Sri Lakshmi Narayan deity were completely burnt in the attack. Between 2-3 am on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday, miscreants set fire to Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple and Sri Sri Mahabhagya Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Dhaka.
He alleged that miscreants used petrol or octane to set the temple on fire. Despite our appeal to the interim government of Bangladesh, the police are not taking any concrete steps to deal with these attacks.

Picture completely opposite to what we expected in Bangladesh Radharaman Das told ANI – We were hoping that now the violence would reduce, the violence had reduced somewhat in the last two days, but the incident that happened today is very sad. The head of the interim government also met the heads of minority groups. After this we were expecting a change in the situation, but what we are seeing now is a completely different picture.
I have received many other videos in which some people are threatening and saying that if the government does not ban ISKCON, then we ourselves will start killing ISKCON people. The government should arrest such people soon.

Indian Union Minister demands action against the culprits West Bengal BJP President and Union Minister Sukant Majumdar said in the Immediate action should be taken to bring the culprits to book and protect the minorities.
