ATS commandos, NSG sniper unit deployed, tight security arrangements before installation of religious flag in Ayodhya



Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Ayodhya today where he will attend the religious flag installation ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. PM Modi will hoist the saffron flag on the peak of the temple today. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people regarding this ceremony. In view of the Prime Minister’s visit, extensive security arrangements have been made.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Will reach Sapt Mandir at 10 am on Tuesday. The Prime Minister will visit Mata Annapurna Temple at 11 am. After this he will worship in Ram Darbar sanctum sanctorum and then visit Ramlala sanctum sanctorum. PM Modi will hoist the flag at the auspicious time between 11.52 am to 12.35 pm.

Welcome with conch sound and Vedic chanting

Grand preparations have also been made to welcome PM Modi. The Prime Minister will be given a grand welcome in Ayodhya by blowing conch shells, chanting Vedic mantras and ringing bells. SPG has already reached Ayodhya for the security of PM Modi. PM will reach Ram Janmabhoomi temple from Saket College via Rampath via Tedhi Bazaar. In view of this, security arrangements are tight within the radius of 15 km.

Security arrangements regarding PM’s visit

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath On the instructions of the Chief, heavy police force and various special units have been deployed from the law and order point of view. Coordinated management from senior officers to the field team has been ensured.

According to the official statement, under the security plan, high officials have been deployed for strategic leadership which includes Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, regional officers and a large number of inspectors.

Security personnel deployed at every nook and corner

For security arrangements, 30 Superintendent of Police level officers, 90 Deputy Superintendent of Police level officers, 242 sub-inspectors, 1060 inspectors (male), 80 female sub-inspectors, 3090 male head constables, 448 female head constables are being deployed. Apart from this, more than 800 personnel of the traffic department will also be on duty.

It said that security personnel will perform responsibilities like crowd control, search, investigation and emergency response. Special security units including bomb detection squad, dog squad, VVIP security inspection team, traffic management unit, fire fighting unit and response force have been deployed at sensitive points.

During this period, provision of BDS unit, X-ray testing machine, CCTV, special security van, patrol unit and ambulance units has also been made. Apart from the local police, special teams of ATS commandos, ‘NSG Sniper Unit’ and ‘Anti-Drone Unit’ have also been deployed to strengthen the security arrangements.

Traffic diversion implemented during the program

In view of this program, extensive traffic diversion has been implemented in the entire city from 6 pm on Monday till the end of the rush on Tuesday. For crowd and security management, vehicular movement has been completely stopped on most of the major routes including New Saryu Bridge, Saket Petrol Pump Barrier, Hanumangufa Square, Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, Badi Chhawni, Ramghat, Hanumangarhi, Vidyakund, Raiganj and Tedhi Bazaar.

Complete restrictions are also in force on Rampath, Dantdhawan Kund, Tulsi Memorial, Rajghat, Laxman Fort, Nayaghat, Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, Iqbal Ansari Awas Mod and Shri Ram Hospital Marg within the city. Alternative routes have also been determined for vehicles coming from outside districts.
