Arab Finance: Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, met with Mr. Muhammad Tara, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “INKA” International Company, a leading Turkish company in the fields of infrastructure projects, renewable energy, real estate investment, construction of commercial centers, and oil and gas.
The meeting reviewed investment opportunities and components in the Egyptian market in a large number of areas of interest to the company.
The minister said that the meeting discussed the company's plans to invest and expand in the Egyptian market in the fields of energy, infrastructure projects, real estate development, and partnership projects between the public and private sectors, in addition to health care projects, data centers, and airport development.
Al-Khatib stressed the ministry’s keenness to attract more Turkish investments to the Egyptian market in sectors of common interest, in a way that reflects the distinguished bilateral relations that link Cairo and Ankara in various fields and at all levels, noting that the state has implemented huge investments in the infrastructure sector during the past period. It contributed to creating the investment climate in Egypt.
The minister added that the Egyptian market possesses many distinct investment components and potentials, which include the distinguished geographical location, the possibilities of free access to a large number of global markets, and the large consumer market, in addition to the availability of qualified workers and highly qualified engineers, and competitive wages, as well as the availability of energy and land.
