Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, referred during the plenary session the statement of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathi, which he delivered before the House of Representatives, to a joint parliamentary committee from the Tourism and Civil Aviation, and Media and Antiquities committees, to discuss it and prepare a report on it.
Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, announced that the executive regulations for the hotel apartments and temporary rental law will soon be issued in the coming days.
Fathi said: “We seek to register tourist apartments to create an inventory of hotel rooms to ensure the best service is provided to tourists,” noting that granting licenses to practice the activity will be linked to cleanliness, security and safety.
He added that Egypt has huge natural wealth from the Nile River and thousands of kilometers of beaches, natural reserves, deserts, mountains and other treasures and antiquities, and that Egypt offers a rich offer of various tourism products that meet the needs of all tourists in the world.
