The Central Working Committee of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasad in a statement condemned the attack by miscreants on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Tripura, India.
The Jasdar statement sent to the media on Tuesday (November 3) afternoon said, 'After August 5, burning of Indian cultural centers by a concerned political group in Bangladesh, provocative speech on India's Seven Sisters, anti-India campaign on Feni-Comilla floods, Indian nationalism in some educational institutions. Inciting anti-India rhetoric including flag paps, creating tension and anti-Bangladesh by Indian media and Indian vested interests alike. The incident of creating provocations is not good for the two neighboring countries Bangladesh and India in any way.'
Jasd's statement said, 'When the rulers fail to run the country, lose popularity, political leaders lose the power to move on the normal political path, then they play the religious card, sectarian card, radical nationalism card to divert people's attention from the real problem, to mislead the people. '
“Communal politics, religion-based politics, radical nationalist politics do not bring any benefit to the two countries and the people of both countries except for the benefit of the vested interests of Bangladesh and India,” Jasdar's statement said.
In the Jasd statement, 'the well-intentioned people and political-social forces of Bangladesh and India are called upon to speak out against the apolitical politics of inciting tension by vested interests in Bangladesh and India.'
Jasdar's statement called on the authorities of both countries to “remove the discomfort created in Bangladesh-India relations through dialogue at the diplomatic level without stepping into the trap of incitement”.
