Minor Girl Raped In Begusarai: While on one hand there was much celebration of Durga Puja in the entire state, on the other hand in Begusarai district on Saturday, a beast did a heinous act like rape with an innocent girl of just 8 years. The matter is of Chakia police station area. The innocent girl had gone out with her family to see the Durga Puja fair in her village. After some time she got separated from her family and her elder sister was with her. Anand Kumar, resident of Simaria village, took advantage of this.
Raped after luring with sweets
It is said that when Anand Kumar saw the girl with him, he started luring both the sisters by feeding them sweets. Under this temptation, both the sisters fell into the trap and on the pretext of taking the younger sister for a tour, he took her to a brick kiln in the village and raped her. Sadar SDPO Bhaskar Ranjan said that the main accused in this incident is Anand Kumar, who had been to jail even before this incident. Has also been jailed under Arms Act.
After the incident occurred on Saturday night, the police arrested the accused within just 12 hours. SDPO Bhaskar Ranjan said that after receiving information about the incident, the police took the victim to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the girl is undergoing treatment. After that the police started investigating the entire matter. The accused was arrested after many important evidences were found.
Police engaged in further action
Sadar SDPO 02 Bhaskar Ranjan told that the girl was roaming with her sister during the Durga Puja fair when at that very moment a young man named Anand Kumar took the girl to the brick kiln on the pretext of taking her around the fair and feeding her sweets and raped her. Police is engaged in investigation, further action is being taken.
