Vietnam

Vietnam has decided to strictly monitor China's exports to avoid the US 'disciplinary tariff'. The Hanoi government will keep an eye on Chinese products sent to the United States, especially the Vietnam territory. Not only that, the country is preparing to strengthen the control of sensitive exports to China.

According to a government document and a source, the news agency Reuters said.

The proposal for this move came at a time when senior US officials, including the White House influential trade adviser Peter Navaro, expressed concern from the idea that the 'Made in Vietnam' label was being used to enter the United States at low tariffs.

Earlier, Vietnam had been offering various benefits to the United States for several weeks, so that US President Donald Trump was flexible on the country's huge trade surplus. However, as part of Trump's 'Liberation Day' step, Vietnam's tariff was imposed on Vietnam.

Although the tariff has been postponed for 3 days, the Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister has agreed to launch talks after meeting with the US Trade Representative (USTR) last Wednesday.

Vietnam is expected to be exported, the tariff can be reduced between 22 and 20 percent or below. This is what the three persons are aware of this. One of them said US officials had hinted at the bilateral meeting last March.

Reuters contacted the Vietnam Ministry of Commerce and the US Commerce Representative to find out the official statement. But there was no response.

The Vietnamese government announced the commencement of trade negotiations with the United States on Thursday at the state portal, saying they would take strict action to stop the 'trade fraud'. However, the Vietnam government did not give details about this terminology.

From the first term of Trump, many multinational agencies have set up factories in Vietnam to reduce the dependence on Beijing.

The country in Southeast Asia has been in difficult circumstances in Trump's reckless tariff policy. Because on the one hand, their largest export market and security partners have to maintain trade relations with the United States, on the other hand, the source of the top investment and the neighboring state does not want to take the risk of improving relations with China. Where the China -Vietnam dispute over the border in the South China Sea has been going on for a long time.

In this regard, Trump's trade adviser Navaro on April 5 complained without any evidence in Fox News, “China is using Vietnam for transitions to evacuate tariffs.”

According to a person familiar with the matter, Reuters reported that in some cases the Chinese cargo was located at the port of Vietnam. This break is mainly given to receive the credentials that the ships are 'made in Vietnam'. They then traveled towards the United States.

Now it is difficult to say whether the United States is enough to reduce the US concern over transplant abuse, or whether the country can completely deal with this problem.

A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry told Reuters that trade between Beijing and Hanoi was a Win-Win situation. We believe that Vietnam will make a decision in line with its own long -term interests and the overall situation of profitable cooperation between China and Vietnam.

Chips, satellite and aircraft

Meanwhile, Hanoi is also taking drastic action in the US -based sensitive products from the United States to China using the Vietnam territory. Reuters reviewed a draft order and found that Vietnam wanted to tighten control over the export of dual -usable products like the semiconductor. Such electronics can be used for both civil and military purposes.

This order prepared at the request of the Ministry of Commerce did not mention any date. However, an explanation of April 5 is included in the note form. According to the document, the chief trade partners have requested Hanoi to 'reduce the possibility of transfer or label in the third country without the consent of the exporter.'

The US government consider the development of artificial intelligence (AI) as a national priority. Washington has taken steps to stop supply to China. According to the proposal, Vietnam is now planning to launch a new announcement and approval process for the trade of such products. Hanoi had earlier reported that they had discussed the export control of dual -usable products with US officials during the March meeting.

Vietnam Elon Mask's Starlink Satellite is also planning to approve the simple terms of the Satellite communication service in the US, facilitating trade with the United States and other technology products. The mask details the plan to set up multiple ground stations in Vietnam on April 7 in an X post.

Beijing has been seen as a threat to Elon Musk in space recently. Where China is also trying to build an alternative communication service infrastructure in Sterling by setting up a large satellite in the world's lower orbit.

Vietnam diplomats have a long history of maintaining relations with large powers. Next week, Chinese leader Shi Chinping will visit Hanoi. Two people are aware of this, said that the Vietnam's Aviation Regulatory Agency could finalize the aircraft approved by China's Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Komac). This can open the Chinese jet aircraft for Vietnam airlines and open the way for purchase. The Chinese company is struggling to find foreign buyers. Last week, a loan agreement with the United States was announced to buy the Boeing aircraft from Vietnam airlines. And then there is a similar agreement with China.
