Cargo and oil tanker collision

An oil tanker collision with a cargo ship on the northeast coast of the UK caught fire. Immediately after the incident, the British Coast Guard has launched an emergency rescue operation.

The Coast Guard said they had sent a helicopter, numerous lifeboats and fire -fighting vessels to the scene.

Video footage spread on the Internet shows that dense black smoke coils are emerging from a ship burning on fire. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in the UK said they sent four lifeboat teams to the scene. After the two ships, many people jumped from the ship and tried to defend themselves. Many of them were trapped in the fire.

Martin Bars, chief executive of the nearby GrimsB East port, said at least 12 people were rescued and brought to the shore. The ambulances ready there are taking the injured to the hospital.

According to the ship tracking tool Vesselfinder, one of the two ships affected by the collision is the flag-tanker 'stemma imaklet' in the United States and the other is a container ship called 'Solong', the flag of Portugal, the autonomous region of Portugal.

The BBC said on Monday night that the Sollang ship was on Sunday evening to leave the Grandmouth port in Scotland and towards Rotterdam, Netherlands. At that time, it collided with the stained imasulet ship anchored along the coast.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet clear. “This is mysterious,” said Martin Bars, chief executive of the port of GrimsB. Because modern ships have extremely advanced technology, which helps to determine their course and avoid any obstacles. The accident was never supposed to happen. '

The Coast Guard of the United Kingdom received the first warning signal about the clash at 5am local time (Bangladesh time at 5pm).

The International Marine Organization (IMO) said they were aware of the incident and are currently giving priority to fire control and rescue operations.
