Arab Finance: The Saudi Renewable Energy Company, Aqua Power, intends to create a 2GB wind farm in southern Hurghada, with investments amounting to 8.6 billion Saudi riyals (2.3 billion dollars), according to Abdulaziz bin Salman announced. He added that the company has already signed the energy purchase agreement produced from the new station with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company.
Aqua Power and Hassan Allam for the accompanying company are currently constructing a 1.1 -GB wind farm in the Gulf of Suez. The financial closure alliance has completed the project last month, and it is expected that commercial operation will start in the second quarter of 2027.
