Today, on November 25, the first trading day of the week, the Sensex is trading at the level of 80,420 with a rise of more than 1300 points. Nifty is also up by 400 points, it is trading at the level of 24,320.
All 30 Sensex stocks are trading with gains. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 49 are rising and 1 is declining. All the sectoral indices of NSE are trading rapidly.
Foreign investors sold shares worth ₹1,278.37 crore
- In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up by 1.53% and Korea's Kospi is up by 1.61%. Whereas China's Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a rise of 0.013%.
- On November 22, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.97% to 44,296 and the S&P 500 rose 0.35% to 5,969. The Nasdaq also rose 0.16% to 19,003.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,278.37 crore on November 22. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 1,722.15 crore.

Today is the second day of bidding for the IPO of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited. This total was subscribed 2.09 times on the first day. Investors will be able to bid for this issue till tomorrow i.e. 26th November. The company's shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 29.
The issue size of this IPO is ₹650.43 crore. The company plans to issue a total of 4,39,48,000 shares. This includes fresh issue of 3,86,80,000 new shares, while promoters will sell 52,68,000 shares. The face value of each share has been fixed at ₹10.
The market closed sharply on Friday
Earlier on Friday i.e. on November 22, the Sensex had closed at the level of 79,117 with a rise of 1961 points (2.54%). Nifty also rose by 557 points (2.39%), it closed at the level of 23,907.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 29 were up and 1 was down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 49 were up and 1 was down. Except Nifty Media, all the sectoral indices of NSE closed with gains. IT and realty index had risen the most.
This was the biggest rally of the stock market in 5 months. Earlier on June 3, a day before the results of the Lok Sabha elections, the Sensex had climbed 2,507 points and closed at the level of 76,468. Whereas Nifty rose 733 points and closed at the level of 23,263.
