MP News: After Diwali festival, auspicious deals are taking place in the markets of Madhya Pradesh. For this reason, in the market of Ujjain, dollar gram was sold at a price of Rs 20051 per quintal, while grains like soybean, wheat, maize, jowar etc. were also bought and sold at record breaking prices.

After Diwali, Muhurat deals are made by traders every time the market opens. In this, all the grains are sold at record breaking prices. As soon as the market opened on Monday, auspicious deals took place in Ujjain. While giving information, Agricultural Produce Market Officer Mahendra Jain said that in the Muhurta deal, gram was sold for Rs 20051 per quintal.

Jowar sold at the price of 10,100 quintals
This gram was sold by Ishwar Singh, father of Antar Singh, resident of Chakravada to Rakesh Kumar Pradeep Kumar Sharma. Similarly, jowar was sold at the rate of Rs 10,100 quintal to Ram Kishore Kailash Chand Sharma, a farmer named Pankaj of Jogikhedi. The price of soybean also remained high. Gonsa farmer Shantilal sold soybean to Parvati Enterprises at the price of Rs 7,411 per quintal. Maize was purchased by Mahavir Traders Trading Company from a farmer named Mohanlal at the rate of Rs 5,313 per quintal, while Santosh Singh, a resident of Panwasa, sold wheat to Jainam Traders at the rate of Rs 5,191 per quintal.

Traders take their share enthusiastically
Praveen Verma, Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market, Ujjain, said that farmers make a lot of efforts to participate in the morning Muhurta after Diwali. He sets up his car several days in advance. On the other hand, businessmen also participate enthusiastically. It has been seen for many decades that grains are sold at record breaking prices during Muhurta deals.
