Bin Yamin Mollah, the president of Gana Odhikar Parishad's student organization Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, called for clarification of the position of the party (BNP) on whether BNP wants to sit in parliament with Bangladesh Awami League and Jatiya Party. He held a press conference under the banner of 'anti-fascist student-labor crowd' at Dhaka University (DU) Student-Teacher Center (TSC) this Sunday afternoon.
In the press conference, Bin Yamin Molla said, 'We have seen a statement of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. Where he said BNP political party does not want to be banned. The Awami League, Jatiya Party and the allies of fascism have commented that the struggle to ban political activities is a conspiracy to create an unstable situation in the country. We want to know whether he said that because he has wrong information or it is their party position. People want to know your (BNP) clear position.'
He also said, 'National Party is working to bring back Awami League one by one. Militants marched with sticks in Rangpur. Awami League is sending people from all over the country to their rally, GM Quader has also admitted it. The armed cadres of Awami League attacked the torch procession in front of the Jatiya Party office, but the government is not taking any action.'
Addressing the interim government, Bin Yamin Molla said, 'The interim government has failed to take any proper measures against the fascist parties. Ban Awami League, Jatiya Party and fascist parties, arrest the culprits, just like Chhatra League has been banned through gazette. Why not the verdict of the people is that the fascist enemies should be banned and their participation in the next election should be banned.'
He also said, 'Tomorrow (Monday) at two o'clock in the afternoon at TSC, I will hang the leaders of Awami League, Jatiya Party and Fascist Party. Fascist leaders and activists including Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader, Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu will be hanged there.'
