Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has raised the question of whether corruption is being protected from within the government and trying to invalidate the ACC. In a statement today, the company expressed deep concern over the initiative of the ACC director of the ACC, the accused in the corruption case discussed in Cox's Bazar. According to media sources, TIB statement said that Amin Al Parvez was sued for allegedly embezzling Tk 22.25 million in the construction of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) building in Cox's Bazar in 2021. He was then serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) in the Cox's Bazar District Administration. According to the ACC report, Amin al -Pervez has illegally benefited himself and others through fraud and abuse of power.
