Under the current government the judiciary is completely independent: Law Advisor

Law Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said the judiciary is completely independent under the current government. That is why the Law Ministry has no opportunity to intervene on the case pending in the High Court. '

He said this while addressing reporters after the inauguration of National Legal Aid Day at Osmani Auditorium in the capital on Monday (April 23).

Asif Nazrul said the court decides how many cases will come or when the hearing will be heard. The Law Ministry has nothing to do in this regard. '

He said, 'The government that was before was a fascist government. They do not obey any rules. They pushed a chief justice out of the country. We are not that government. We have no jurisdiction to interfere with the High Court. '

Responding to reporters' questions regarding the murder of the child Achiah in Jhenaidah, the law adviser said, “The trial of the case has begun. It was a little late to get the charge sheet of the case. The court is conducting the trial very seriously. We hope the verdict will be available very quickly. '

Referring to the case against actor Eresh Zaker, Asif Nazrul said, “There is no barrier to the case. Anyone can sue if he wants. But the administration has been instructed to find out if anyone is suing for commercial or whether the case is objectivity. '
