Ujjain Medical College: A new medical college has been built in the religious city of Ujjain at a cost of Rs 592 crore. On November 21, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform the bhoomi pujan of the new medical college. This college will be ready in 3 years. A new 550 bed hospital will also be built under this college.
Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given a big gift to Ujjain city. A new medical college will be ready in the coming 3 years in the religious city of Ujjain. The cost of the medical college is said to be Rs 592 crore. Here 150 students will get the opportunity to study medicine.
Will be of great benefit to health services
Along with the medical college, a super specialist hospital is also going to be built, which will have 550 beds. He said that this new medical college is going to provide a lot of benefits in health services to the people living in Ujjain and surrounding areas. Now people will not have to go to another city for treatment.
Ujjain will have economic development
Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said that when the medical college opens in Ujjain, a large number of students, professors and other medical staff will reside in Ujjain, which will also improve the economy of Ujjain. Apart from this, people from nearby districts will come to Ujjain and get their treatment. This will also make the cycle of the economy rotate faster. He said that students will also get the facility to study in the medical college.
Till now there was a private medical college in Ujjain, whereas now the way has been cleared for the opening of a government medical college. A medical college will be constructed in the premises of Madhavrao Scindia Hospital in Ujjain. Construction will take place here on approximately 14 acres of land. This entire area is located in the center of the city.
