Düsseldorf. In Deutschland Electricity costs vary significantly depending on where you live. A key reason for this is the fees that customers pay for using the local electricity grid. In the cheapest postcode district, customers pay a total of 272 euros per year in electricity costs, in the most expensive 914 euros. This is shown by an analysis by the flexible electricity provider Ostrom with data from the software company Powercloud, which is available exclusively to Handelsblatt.
