The High Court has dismissed the writ seeking the opportunity of admission examination for the second time in Dhaka University (DU). On Monday, the bench of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Shikder Mahmudur Razi dismissed the writ as not raised.
Dhaka University lawyer Mohammad Shishir Moni confirmed the matter.
Shishir Monir said that in 2014, Dhaka University decided not to give admission test for the second time. A writ was filed on the matter at that time. The High Court rejected it. After that, when it went to the Appellate Division, it was also rejected.
The Court reprimanded the re-petition of a settlement and dismissed the writ as not moot. As a result, no candidate will be able to take part in the DU entrance examination for the second time.
