The revised list of the Ekushey Medal has been published this year. Mehdi Hasan Khan is going to get three Ekushey Padak in the new list in the science and technology branch. They were associated with Mehdi Hassan in the creation of Avro Key Board.
These three are – Rifat Nabi, Md. Tanbin Islam Siam and Shabab Mustafa.
The sub-committee of the Ekushey Padak nomination of the Ministry of Culture on Tuesday (February 7th) said in an information statement.
According to the statement, the government has decided to give the Ekushey Medal 2021 to 4 prominent persons and parties in recognition of its important contribution in various fields. The medalists are Azizur Rahman (posthumous) in the film, Ustad Nirud Baran Barua (posthumous) in the film and Ferdous Ara, Nasir Ali Mamun in the photographer and Rokeya Sultana in painting. Mahfuz Ullah (posthumous) in journalism, Maidul Hasan in research, Dr. Dr. Niaz Zaman.
Besides, Mehdi Hasan Khan (leader), Rifat Nabi (party leader), Md. Tanbin Islam Siam (party) and Shabab Mustafa (party). Mohammad Yousuf Chowdhury (posthumous) in social service, Helal Hafeez (posthumous) in language and literature and Shahidul Zahir (Md Shahidul Haque) (posthumous). Mahmudur Rahman in Journalism and Human Rights, Culture and Education Dr. Shahidul Alam and Bangladesh National Women's Football Team in Sport.
