The price of soybean oil increased by 5 bucks


Finally, the owners of the edible oil mill have increased the price of soybean oil per liter. As a result, the price of one liter of soybean oil is now Tk 5, which was earlier Tk 5. The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Forests Manufacturers Association said this in a statement on Sunday (April 7th). The new price of soybean oil has also been effective from today.

According to the announcement, the new price of five liters of soybean oil bottle has been fixed at Tk 122, which was earlier Tk 12. In addition to bottled oil, the new price of open soybean and palm oil has been fixed at Tk 5 per liter, which was Tk 5 before.

It is learned that on March 25, the mill owners proposed to increase the bottled soybean at Tk 5 and open oil to 5 rupees. Traders announced the implementation of the bid from April 1, the day after the expiry of the edible oil tax. The organization informed the Ministry of Commerce and Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission about the decision to raise prices that day.

Earlier on December 5 last year, the last bottled soybean oil prices were raised. Then the price per liter is fixed at Tk.
