The opposition team leaves the field before the end of the game, winning Romania

The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has been fined and reprimanded for racist and discriminatory behavior by fans. Kosovo abandoned their Nations League match last Friday in protest at discriminatory treatment by Romanian fans. Although the result of the match was not announced immediately, UEFA finally announced Romania as the winner after deliberation.

The added time game was on that day. The match was on the way to a goalless draw. But the football players of Kosovo could not be patient with the severe discrimination. He left the field without finishing the match. The two teams met in Bucharest last Friday in the second group match of the Nations League 'C' League. Romania was declared a 3-0 winner after leaving the field before the end of the game.

Kosovo has alleged that Romanian fans shouted pro-Serbian slogans during the match, according to international media reports. However, Romania denied this accusation of the opponent. UEFA, however, took a tougher decision, fining the Romanian Football Federation 128,000 euros for multiple charges, including discriminatory behavior and team indecency.

The governing body of Euro football has also ordered the organization of the next match at Romania's own ground in an empty stadium. Kosovo has also been punished. UEFA fined the country's football federation 6,000 euros in addition to their defeat for leaving the field without finishing the match.
