Susie Wills is the first female White House Chief of Staff


Newly elected US President Donald Trump has chosen Susie Wills as the White House Chief of Staff. Through this, 67-year-old Susie is going to get the title of the White House's first female chief of staff. Trump announced Susie's name in a statement on Thursday (November 7). Susie is one of his two campaign managers. British news agency Reuters reported this news.

Trump wants to organize his administration before taking oath as president on January 20, 2025. And so started selecting preferred persons for various important posts. He announced Susi's name first among them.

The Chief of Staff of the White House works as the gatekeeper of the President of the United States. He also manages the President's work schedule, including managing the White House staff. Liaise with other government departments and legislators.

In a statement, Trump said, 'Susie is a strong, smart, innovative person who is universally admired and respected. I have no doubt that he will make our country proud.'

Trump has been spending time at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida since defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in Tuesday's US election.
