And after a week the 11th season of BPL started. Before that BPL Music Fest has been organized to add excitement to the tournament. Sports advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan announced the opening of BPL from the stage before the start of the event at Mirpur Sher Bangla Stadium.
At that time Asif said, 'You know we are in this Bangladesh today after a long struggle. We are dreaming of building a new Bangladesh. As part of that new Bangladesh, we have undertaken reforms in every sector of the country. As a part of that, an initiative has been taken to reorganize the BPL.
The sports advisor also said, 'Some new initiatives have been taken in this year's BPL, including theme songs and mascots. Field games should also be enjoyable. That's why BCB has done a lot of work. Kudos to BCB for making today's event a success and taking the initiative to present a beautiful BPL to all. As you know, the Honorable Chief Advisor himself was directly associated with this initiative of ours. Above all, I hope this year's BPL will be enjoyable for all as a new BPL of new Bangladesh. Thank you again for coming to this event today and I announce the inauguration of BPL.'
Pakistani artist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will sing in this music fest of BPL. Also, there are many local bands and music artists in this event.
BPL will start on December 30.
