Son to daughter is the child of former Indian cricketer

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar's son Aryan has changed his gender from boy to girl. According to Indian media reports, Aryan changed her name to Anaya. This ended his dream of playing professional cricket! Anaya Bangar said it herself on social media Instagram. His account is now under this name.

Aryan's dream was to become a cricketer like his father. He started the game. He used to play for Islam Gymkhana Club. Later went to London. The left-handed batsman also played for Hinckley Cricket Club in Leicestershire.

Aryan's father Sanjay played 15 ODIs and 12 Tests for India. He was also the interim head coach of India in 2016 and 2017. Sanjay was also the coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. His son Aryan decided to change gender in 2021. Performed 'hormonal replacement surgery' as planned. The process has been going on for the last 10 months.

Anaya has highlighted that time on social media. Posting a video of his current condition on Instagram, he wrote in the caption, 'Had to sacrifice a lot while chasing the dream of becoming a cricketer. Had to work hard. There was another journey outside of cricket. A journey of self-discovery. We had to fight a lot in that way. Finally, I stuck to my decision. I love myself. I am proud of myself.'

However, Anaya had to give up his dream of playing professional cricket due to gender change. According to ICC rules, transgenders cannot play women's cricket. This rule is made to protect women cricketers and maintain equality in the game.
