The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) imposed a fine of Rs 5.05 crore on the Cleanliness Corporation of India Limited (ICCL) for not following cyber security and disaster recovery structure. As per SEBI's order, ICCL will have to pay a fine within 45 days. ICCL was formed in 2007 as a complete owned subsidiary of BSE Limited. It works for clearing, disposal and risk management for various sections of BSE.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has complied with the provisions of SEBI rules to find out whether ICCL has complied with the provisions of SEBI regulations, inspection its account multiple records and other records from December 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023. Did. In its inspection, the regulator found the main regulatory provisions, especially in cyber security and disaster recovery in non-compliance.
